Anyone who looked up HubSpot’s new pricing in the past few weeks has probably met two seats: a Core Seat from €60 and a Front Office Seat from €120 a month on Professional. Those prices really are in HubSpot’s pricing terms. They apply to a small group of customers only.
Where Core and Front Office come from
HubSpot first tried seats and credits in the Nordics, in the Nordic Limited Release Pricing pilot. The pilot used two seats:
| Seat | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | €20, up to 10 paid seats | €60 | €90 |
| Front Office | not available | €120 | €150 |
That table is still at the bottom of HubSpot’s pricing supplement, under a heading for pilot customers. Read the page top to bottom without noticing the heading and you copy the wrong table. That is how the pilot prices ended up in blogs and posts by HubSpot partners.
What new customers in Europe pay
Since 1 October 2026 HubSpot sells seats and credits to new customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with two different seats:
| Seat | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTM | €20, up to 10 paid seats | €100 | €175 |
| Ops | not available | €50 | €50 |
List prices per seat per month, as starting prices. A GTM seat gives access to the whole platform for marketing, sales and service. An Ops seat covers “select automation, reporting, and governance functionality”, meant for operations staff who support the customer-facing teams.
The difference that matters most
The split has moved. In the pilot, marketing sat on the cheap Core Seat and only sales and service needed a Front Office Seat. In the new model marketing needs a GTM seat. Only people who do nothing but automation, reporting or governance can go on an Ops seat.
A saving worked out on pilot prices therefore comes out too high. The gap between the two seats on Professional is €50 rather than €60, and far fewer people qualify for the cheap one.
Two other pilot figures differ as well:
| Pilot | New model | |
|---|---|---|
| Records on Enterprise | 5,000,000 | 15,000,000 |
| Calling minutes per month | 500 / 3,000 / 12,000 per account | 100 / 250 / 500 per GTM seat |
And the Core Seats on your current invoice?
If you are already a customer, your invoice may list Core Seats too. That is a third meaning of the same word: the seats included with a hub subscription. They belong to today’s model of separate hubs. Existing customers stay on that model until HubSpot moves them, and HubSpot has not given a date.
How the new model works as a whole, with credits and packs, is in HubSpot seats and credits pricing, explained for existing customers.
Pricing it with the right seats
Count people, one by one. Everyone who uses marketing, sales or service tools gets a GTM seat. Anyone who only automates or reports can go on an Ops seat. The calculator below uses current prices and sets the result against your invoice today, without connecting anything.
