Tendal started as the reporting half of an audit tool consultants ran by hand against client portals. The same finding kept coming back.
Almost every HubSpot portal of any age is paying for seats that nobody uses. Not through carelessness: someone leaves, someone changes role, someone is invited and never accepts, and none of that shows up on an invoice that only gets larger. It is nobody's job to notice, so nobody does, until renewal.
Finding it by hand takes an afternoon of cross-referencing the users page against activity nobody can see in one place. Finding it again three months later takes the same afternoon. That is the part worth automating.
Why it measures one thing
A monitoring tool that reports on everything is a dashboard, and dashboards get ignored. Tendal reports the one number that has a price attached, and only tells you when it moves enough to be worth your attention. The other pillars exist in the same audit core and will follow, once this one has proved it earns its place.
Who we are
Tendal is built and operated by Better Call Birdman, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 84948396. We are an independent vendor and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a reseller of HubSpot, Inc.
Better Call Birdman also builds HubScan, which is the same audit licensed to consulting firms to run against their clients' portals and deliver under their own name. Tendal is the hosted half, for the team whose portal it is. If you are auditing other people's, that is the one you want.
