Refunds and cancellation

Try it without paying first
The first audit is free and needs no card, and the sample shows the whole output on a synthetic portal before you connect anything. Between them you can see exactly what you would be buying, which is why the policy below can be simple.
Cancelling
Any time, from the portal page in the app or by writing to us. There is no notice period and no exit fee. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops; nothing renews.
Cancelling is not the same as disconnecting. Disconnecting removes Tendal from your HubSpot account and deletes your data straight away. You can do either first.
Refunds
First payment: 14 days, no questions. If Tendal is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of your first payment on a subscription and you get all of it back. You do not have to explain why.
After that: no partial refunds. Cancelling part-way through a month or a year stops the renewal rather than refunding the remainder, and you keep the service until the period ends. Annual plans are discounted precisely because they are committed for the year.
When we got it wrong, we refund anyway. If Tendal was broken for a meaningful part of a period, or billed you for something you had already cancelled, write to us and we will put it right. We would rather return money than argue about a policy.
How to ask
Email hello@tendal.io with the portal id, which is in the top right of any HubSpot screen. Refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Their side usually takes a few working days to appear on a statement.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks; an email takes a day and reaches a person who can actually fix the underlying problem.
